HOW MUCH DOES A FACELIFT COST?
Facelift procedures cost an average of $8,000 – $12,000 at our practice. Your final price will vary depending on the extent of the surgery, the surgical techniques used, and other fees.
Heights Plastic Surgery accepts cash, personal checks, and all major credit cards.
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT FACELIFT TECHNIQUES?
- Standard Facelift
The standard facelift aims to alleviate moderate to severe sagging skin on the face and neck. Incisions are made along the hairline and behind the ears, giving Dr. Downey a better lifting capability in return for a longer, but still easily-concealed scar.
This technique is intended for wrinkled, aged, or sagging facial skin. The front of the ear and the edge of the hairline are incised in order to lift the top of the face with the jowls. Mini-facelift procedures only address neck issues to a small degree but may be combined with neck liposuction to enhance the result.
The Mid-Facelift, or traditional facelift, uses an incision on the outer side of the eyelids to remove crow’s feet and other signs of aging in the area. This also corrects mild to moderate sagging skin while having only minimal scarring involved.
HOW IS THE PROCEDURE PERFORMED?
- Surgery Length
It takes an average of 3 – 4 hours to fully perform facelift surgery.
General anesthesia will be administered for the duration of this procedure, but a mini-facelift may be done under general or local anesthesia depending on the patient’s preference.
Dr. Downey will use a surgical pen to mark the ideal incision sites. These will be used as access points in order to remove fat, reposition and tighten sagging skin upwards, and remove excess skin to restore the youthful appearance of the face.
Your repositioned skin will be kept in place with dissolvable sutures.
