Boots and Botox: Let’s Get Rodeo Ready!
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is without a doubt my favorite event of the season. Since its inception in the 1930’s, this month-long festival has grown to become Houston’s finest cultural landmark. From livestock exhibitions to rodeo round-ups, to star-studded concerts showcasing the best in pop and country, the city of Houston truly comes alive when the rodeo comes to town.
The rodeo is still a few weeks away, but that shouldn’t stop us from starting the party a little early this year. That is why, in the spirit of the cultural traits that bring our community together every March, I am proud to announce that I have partnered up with the talented folks over at Maida’s Custom Footwear for an exciting rodeo kickoff event that is sure to get you ready for the season.
Together with Maida’s Custom Footwear, we will be hosting Boots and Botox! We’ll be at the Maida’s Showroom on the 23rd of February for an exciting night that is going to leave you looking good and feeling great just in time for the rodeo!
I will be providing guests with Botox injections at a special, one-night-only discounted price for the party. Our friends from Maida’s Custom Footwear will be taking guests on a tour of their incredible showrooms. With a tradition that dates back to 1901, Maida’s creates beautiful, custom boots that use century-old methods with hand-made techniques, ensuring each pair of boots is a special, one-of-a-kind piece.
More than anything, what I love most about the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is how it brings everyone in the community together. Under the lights of the NGR Stadium, among a crowd of tens of thousands of people, we celebrate the culture and diversity of our beautiful city.
The rodeo is coming to town, so let’s take this opportunity to make our community even better by looking good for the cultural event of the year.
